1. Information We Collect

Safyronix collects information necessary to provide personal safety and emergency response services, including:

  • Account Information: Name, phone number, and email address provided during registration.
  • Emergency Contacts: Phone numbers and details of designated guardians chosen by you.
  • Real-Time Location: GPS coordinates collected exclusively during active SOS alerts or Travel Watch sessions.
  • Audio Evidence: Microphone recordings captured strictly when an SOS alert is triggered.
  • Ephemeral Chat Content: Text messages, voice notes, and media shared in chat.

2. Zero-Storage Ephemeral Chat & Media Privacy

Safyronix operates on a privacy-first, zero-storage ephemeral messaging architecture. All chat text messages, voice recordings, photos, and files are stored strictly on your local device (SharedPreferences/Local DB) and are automatically purged from remote cloud servers upon delivery. Voice and video calls are securely established via encrypted peer-to-peer (P2P) WebRTC connections without third-party server interception.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely for safety purposes:

  • Transmitting emergency SOS alerts and live location tracking to your designated guardians.
  • Delivering automated safety notifications and check-ins.
  • Facilitating direct peer-to-peer communication within your safety circle.

4. Data Sharing & Non-Disclosure

Your personal data and real-time location are NEVER sold, rented, or shared with third-party advertisers. Data is shared exclusively with your designated emergency contacts / guardians when you trigger an SOS or active Travel Watch.

6. Required Device Permissions

To function effectively, Safyronix requests access to:

  • Location: Essential for live SOS tracking and travel companion features.
  • Microphone: Required for recording emergency audio evidence and voice notes.
  • Camera / Photos: Required for sharing optional profile pictures or chat attachments.
  • Contacts: To easily select emergency guardians from your address book.
  • Notifications: To alert you and your guardians instantly during emergencies.

7. Data Deletion & Account Control

You retain full control over your data. You may clear your local chat history at any time using the 'Clear Chat' option, or request complete account and cloud data deletion through the account deletion request form or by contacting support.
